Our Story
The story of Locras Bräu began with three work friends: Mättu, Stefu, and Blerim. We would occasionally meet on Fridays after work to have a beer together.
In 2013, Stefu gave Mättu a brewing kit that sparked his passion for brewing beer.
In December 2017, we all attended a brewing seminar to deepen our knowledge and learn the art of brewing together.
In March 2018, we started our first brewing experiments in Stefu's garden, where we gathered to experiment and gain valuable experience.
In 2019, we decided to pursue our passion professionally. We invested in new equipment, moved to Ins, and renovated the brewery.
From 2020 to 2022, we worked intensively on new recipes, improved our three main beers, stabilized the brewing process, and redesigned our labels. During this time, Blerim had to leave the project due to time constraints, but we also won an award for a special beer at the Beer Award.
The years 2023 and 2024 were dedicated to refining our recipes, optimizing the
process, and increasing efficiency. We opened a new online shop and participated in beer festivals.
In 2025, we focus on enhancing our online presence, introducing a Bitcoin strategy, engaging patrons, and marketing training to further establish our brand.
Today, Locras Bräu stands for friendship, tradition, and innovation, for craftsmanship and heart, and for the joy of enjoying an excellent beer.
